Make your own origami is a project run by Verica Jovanović and Srđan Đurđevački, final year students at the Department of Oriental Studies of the Faculty of Philology of the University of Belgrade. The project is funded by the Japan Foundation in Budapest and supported by the Embassy of Japan in Serbia. The aim of the project is to educate young people about the Japanese culture through practical origami workshops and a final exhibition. The workshops were organized in the school year 2022/2023 and gathered great attention. The exhibition successfully showcased the origamis made within the project in an original way.
